If it is a super close fight that Bute deserves to win, will the judges get it right?

What are the chances of the judges favoring Froch in a fight that Bute probably deserves to win?

Just curious what the UK perception on this.

    Assume just two things:
    1. The Fight is Close & Competitive
    2. You Believe Bute Edged it Out Clearly But Close

Will the judges get it right?

If it's one of those 'definitely 7-5 one way fights' then I imagine Froch gets the nod instead.

Interesting. So you do believe there can be a home town influence.

I guess my question is still kind of loaded. I mean it's probably going to be a situation where the crowd goes wild whenever Froch does something and they remain silent undermining whatever Bute may be doing. That's always the case with a home/away situation like this.

So nothing revolutionary going on my thinking. Just wondering how the Brit posters view the question.

The chances of Bute getting a close decision in his favour are roughly the same as your chances of finally getting in Jenna's panties.

Almost definitely will sway towards Froch and thats coming from a big fan of his.

There's a pretty good chance Froch would get his hand raised although the ibf can be quite strict with there judge choice from what I hear.

I'm guessing bute is fairly confident he'll stop Froch? I can't see it though, more likely bute will be the one who gets stopped if anything.

Yeah it's mostly the crowd, assuming there will be neutral judges (or 1 Canadian, 1 British and 1 neutral) then the judging itself won't be any better or worse than normal. The crowd noise could push it towards Froch or a draw easily though.

Did you not see the Andre Dirrell fight? Yeah, safe to say The Cobra gets the benefit of any doubt on May 26!

If it's 7-5 I could see it going for a draw. There's bound to be a closish round or 2 if the fight ends up that close as has been said the crowd could just push it over.

  11. Surely if a fight's super close then it's subjective to say whether one fighter desrves to win or not?

Not always, Cotto beat Mosley 7-5 in rounds but I don't think anyone could argue that Mosley won.

I see Bute stopping Froch. He hits harder and Froch doesn't hit hard to reaffirm Bute's apparent durability problems (seen only once admittedly)
