I can't believe people use the word 'duck' when it comes to BJS. He had so many opportunities to make a fight with GGG in the last 2 years and avoided it as much as he could. Everyone waited for GGG reach his boxing twilight years before they speak up. GGG can fight whoever he wants right now and he doesn't have to fight BJS, who avoided him for years.

In the last year he has tried every trick in the book to fight GGG, he even signed a contract to fight him in Kazakhstan!!!!

GGG is the reverse candyman, call him out 3x and he disappears. He's only keen to fight people he thinks are intimidated by him, pretty much easy beats.

"Golovkin is getting old, isn’t he? He’s almost 35,” said Saunders to IFL TV. “He’s shown to be an ordinary man…Just let him get to that certain age, 35-ish, and now he’s that age."

Brave Sir Saunders, finally ready to fight Old Man Golovkin

This. Saunders hasn't even made a secret of avoiding GGG.

Then you get James500000 that expects GGG to fall in line the moment Saunders scratches his arse and gets off the couch, finally ready now that he thinks Golovkin is on crutches. "He was ducking, doe"

@james5000 is still butthurt that CEJ lost his pen and so far has only been able to win a IBO belt.

Finally stepping up to fight his second ranked opponent in AA only problem is AA is 6000yo......obviously he lost to the first one he fought.

Well I'm not going to argue Billy did do some ***** stuff in the past, that is not even disputable.

    Time for redemption #allofthebelts

Ducking Billy seems like cutting your nose off to spite your face, #allofthebelts

    What makes you so certain?
Who has he beaten that is comparable, some of his toughest fights have been against Southpaws and he doesn't like fighting blokes with fleet foot.

Saunders is all wrong for him, his biggest weakness is his gas tank but GGG isn't exactly the fittest bloke around.

GGG seems to be ageing in the gas tank department and his speed is slowing a bit too. The power is still top notch though, but you can't hurt what you can't hit.

Is there a slicker fighter @ 160 than BJS???

This is probably rude and uncalled for, but that James 5000 is mentally ill. The crap he posts is embarrassingly bad. This guy thinks 3G is ducking Eubanks jr. and Saunders, despite all the evidence in the world suggesting otherwise. I can't stand reality challenged idiots..

You are the reality challenged one

In fairness I would take the money fights too, pretty much anyone would, but this guy is holier than thou and has claimed to fight for pride and #allofthebelts. He has asked all of his potential foes to be like him. Practice what you preach or you look like a hypocrite.

If he gets a pass for the risk/reward factor than there has never been a duck in history.

No one says they only fight for pride FFS... if you buy in to that line, it just says your too gullible to be taken serious.

Dude, Golovkin is the guy with GGG on his belt. Sure you've been watching the right guy?

Saunders has legit skills. Nobody is disputing that. What people have a problem with is his dedication in coming to fight 100% conditioned and ready to rumble.

I still expect GGG to fight Saunders. It's just that there are more lucrative fights falling into place that may not be possible at another time, like Cotto. I think Saunders is a tougher fight at this point than Cotto, but he brings in much less money. Let's keep it real, for a second, Cotto is a great name to have on a resume and a great payday too. Saunders is going nowhere for the next bit. I think that we will likely see Saunders/GGG next year.

GGG can't fight hard for 12 rounds, he has to take rounds off. That will suit Bill to the t.

Saunders is only a fight that GGG wants if it's for #allofthebelts, other than that it's too high risk/low reward. Even if GGG won, which I doubt, he will be made to look foolish at times. Saunders has a very tricky style.

You telling me when GGG gets stripped of the IBF he will want a piece of Bill?????

After Canelo I think he will head north to 168, and he won't have a fight beforehand unless its Cotto. Cotto is very unlikely IMO unless he really needs the cash.

Cotto will take a beating, he's way too small for GGG.

How do you think GGGs 2017 /18 will play out?

    I don't think #allofthebelts will ever happen

Who has BJS been in the ring with who is comparable to GGG? Even the 35yo version?

How the hell you can admit to knowing that BJS has actively avoided and voiced it in public GGG, to now claim that it is Golovkin doing the avoiding.

So what BJS had a contract to fight Golovkin, Golovkin went on to fight and get robbed I might add against Canelo....a much bigger fight than BJS in every sense.

It's not like it was CEJ not signing to fight the main man only to go after the IBO belt is it.

GGG is past his prime, he has lost a step, that's nature. We can't change history, he didn't get the big fights in his physical prime.

GGG at 35 appears to be tailor made for Saunders. Slow feet, slow hand's, needs to take breaks to last 12 rounds.

Billy did avoid GGG, he even admits to waiting till he got old. He see's GGG as a very winnable fight now, does GGG like taking risks????

Apart from the Canelo fight I am pretty sure GGG has never had a smaller purse than any of his opponents. Maybe if GGG wasn't so greedy he might have got a big fight in his prime.

He should at least try to get the Saunders fight, every man and his dog wants him to unify.

Why is he getting cold feet, why do you think he won't fight Saunders?
