Khan proved his haters wrong. Bradley was a warrior turned ducker when it suited him.

Its publicity, good or bad, its only given to people interesting enough to talk about. Be sad if nobody notices you:yep That means you are not relevant.

Is this yet another whiney, indignant Brit thread?

No one gives a **** about Bradley, as was said earlier. If not for that forehead, I'd forget about him for weeks at a time. He's garbage.

American fighers > British fighters, as far as this forum is concerned.

Khan should be an exception to this though, xenophobia or no. He's carving out a nice little career for himself at a young age whilst Bradley continues his quest to be the next Andre Berto. Young American fighters need to be paid less and given sterner challenges early in their careers. It's too easy for them early on, then they inevitably fail at their first real hurdle. Bradley shouldn't even be mentioning the names Mayweather or Pacquiao. He's not in their league, not even close. He'd be embarrased against either of them.

you make some good points..... im not one of those really giving bradley **** for this. i can see where bradleys coming from. boxings a business after all. but trust me. if khan was doing the same thing, avoiding bradely in the hope he could get a big payday with pacman, he would be getting it by american fans. but on whole different level!

also the fact khan won a silver medal and then had fame thrust upon him by the hype machine that is the british media is not his fault. it was the media and british public which created the hype not amir. he was just a young kid enjoying the ride. im almost certain people didnt like the guy for other reasons, but i wont go in to it.

as soon as he lost to prescott people came down him like a ton of bricks and he immediatly became written off as a no hoper. not only did people not rate him but they started expressing hatred towards him. it hasn't really stopped since. he won people over with the maidana and judah wins but theres still those die hard anti khan guys that do there best to slate him at every turn.

So your beef is due to a hypothetical reaction? Amir Khan is fighting on American T.V, on American soil, and getting hyped up by American writers and fans. In fact, Khan himself has stated that he feels more well received by American fans than British fans. Khan is already drawing 5-7k fans in America. Meanwhile, Bradley is only getting 2k in his own hometown. Somehow though, you're trying to claim that Americans have a bias against Khan and towards Bradley. I just don't see it.

High praise comes with high expectations. That's just how it goes. He gets paid big bucks. As a result, he's going to get some heat when people feel he's not meeting expectations.

It seems like you're attributing negative reaction towards Khan to his ethnicity and/or religion.

That's a part of being a public figure. Look at all the negativity Andre Berto receives. Look how many people are calling him a hype job for losing to Ortiz, who is a much better fighter than Presscott. Every fighter is going to have detractors. Look at how talented and accomplished Mayweather and Pacquiao are. Even they have detractors. It comes with the territory.

Bradley is gettin mad **** for this, WTF are you talkin about. Khan would get more **** for it, because Khan is waaaaay more popular, that's not a bad thing. If Bradley was as popular as Khan, he'd get more **** for it too, but not a lot of people care about Bradley.

Dude that's bull**** and you know it. Bradley is not a big attraction right now and beating Khan would make a fight with either Pac or Mayweather that much more appealing. But this guy is sure he would lose to Khan that he doesn't give a **** that everybody knows he's a *****. He wants to cash out now. That's ****ing pathetic.

if pac fought bradley it would be at a catchweight of around 144 (or pacs usual weighing in weight) bradley would be lucky to last 3 rounds. he knows this and he is only looking for the big purse. what a total disrespect for boxing he has, looking for a purse rather that ring supremacy. its a sad realisation of what boxing has become! fighters no longer fighting 8 times a year but now 1 or 2 times and charging $50 on PPV.

years ago it was free to watch and the guys fought for the love of the sport, now guys like bradley are wanting us to pay our money for him to get beaten up for a few rounds just so he can retire will our cash in his pocket!

guys like bradley dont deserve to be mentioned next to the likes of the greats of boxing who fought for their love of the sport
