to see SRR against one of his toughest opponents, or the toughest on the horizon now (at any weight) for Floyd?

If I was a rich eccentric (I am an eccentric, but I ain't rich), I'd pony-up the PPV for every poster to see SRR...ta feel the electricity he generated.

Sugar Ray. For those of us who have to rely on old footage, we never really got to see him at his best. The majority of the footage I've seen was of him at 160 and at times he looked so good that it's hard to imagine anyone was ever better. The chance to see him at his absolute, welterweight, peak against someone like Gavilan would be unmissable.

As great as Floyd is, I've seen almost all of his fights and I doubt his remaining fights will show me anything I haven't already seen.

I wouldn't want Floyd to fight Ray Robinson at WW. Ray was like a unicorn at that weight class, a mythical creature who had way too much size and power for FLoyd to deal with. I think Floyd has him in the handspeed department, definitely better footspeed and FLoyd is the superior defensive fighter to Robinson. BUt Ray started at WW and went all the way up to LHW to fight JOey Maxim, the size difference would be too much.

SRR is arguably the greatest offensive fighter in history, I have him, Ray Leonard, Greb and Armstrong as the best offensive fighters ever (Greb and Armstrong were pressure fighters who threw a million punches at different angles.)

I'd shell out 100 bucks to watch Floyd fight Ray Leonard though, although once again, Leonard started as a WW whereas FLoyd didn't starting fighting at WW until his 9th or 10th year as a prizefighter. Matching Floyd up with Duran at 135 would be the most sensible mythical matchup to make as they were naturally smaller men compared to SRR or SRL.
