More hyperbole. Where the facts? Does it make you feel smarter posting an article that doesn't help your case?

Let that sink in: "Of the 634 products tested, 94 (15 percent) contained steroids or related compounds that were not declared on the label."

Let's look at this line which has little to do with validity of urine testing and more to do with supplement labeling. It says that makers are not correctly labeling their stuff, which is a problem for the FDA who does not strictly if at all enforce the supplements market.

Blood screening is more sensitive (more likely to detect a banned substance), detects more banned substances, and is more difficult to beat through "masking" methods. Blood screening is the current standard for detecting abnormally elevated levels of synthetic human growth hormone (HGH).

With this line, doc gives the impression that blood testing detects HGH when no athlete has been caught using HGH even when they admitted to using HGH.

"Even with the blood test, no prominent athlete has tested positive for HGH. Former track and field star Marion Jones and some baseball players, including New York Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte, have admitted using it."

You've yet to respond to the actual issue. What about the other PEDs besides just HGH? You are ignoring several doctor's comments based on a USA Today article? LOL

And the doctor said blood-testing is the CURRENT STANDARD for detecting HGH. He also mentioned the new urine test but that has to be approved for use first. Before it is approved, BLOOD TESTING IS THE STANDARD. You understand what an INDUSTRY STANDARD is right?

Once again, what about the other banned substances besides HGH that can't be detected without a blood test? Just ignore them? Oh that's right, you want a list of the substances first. ROFL, get real....

I love how quoting professionals in the field (doctors) is "hyperbole" without "facts." That is hilarious dude. You quote some writers from the USA Today, and they are somehow more knowledgeable than doctors who actually work in the field. Classic.

Go back to school and take a debate class, seriously. You would be getting torn to pieces right now if we were in front of a group, class, or conference.

This will be my last post on the issue. I am clearly out of your league when it comes to a debate.

Christ your seriously lacking some grey matter or something. You haven't listed what drugs that can be blood detected versus what cannot be detected with urine.

You seem to not get it. I am quoting professionals in the field, which means, I don't have to prove anything. THE PROOF IS WITH THE PROFESSIONAL'S CREDENTIALS.

Professional opinions hold up in a court of law too btw.

Why should I (not a professional doctor) be required to make a list? Isn't that the job of the "doctor?"

I tell you what, why don't you send an email to the doctor I quoted and ask him yourself?

As I said before, you are running around in circles while ignoring professional/expert opinion. I am clearly out of your league when it comes to a debate. Merry Christmas :D

Way to take it out of context.

I quoted a PROFESSIONAL IN THE FIELD. Which means, I don't need to prove anything.

YOU NEED TO PROVE THE PROFESSIONAL IS WRONG. Good luck.

Victor879 you should just give up. This is insane!

These guys side with Manny (a competitor) and Arum (a boxing promoter) and dismiss the opinion of a trained doctor in the field? :patsch

    This is pure insanity!!!! :patsch:yep

You're using their quote to make an argument without giving anyone a means to defend from your argument.

Christ, what a waste of space.

There are no means to defend against my argument BECAUSE I AM QUOTING PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD. You are just talking out of your ass.

PROFESSIONAL OPINION > talking out of your ass

When you can come back with a professional opinion (doctor) that says urine testing is more than adequate to find all the PEDs, then you have a case. I won't even ask you to list them, LOL

You won't find one however, because BLOOD TESTING IS THE INDUSTRY STANDARD. When you move out of your mom's basement, get an education, and actually work in a field you will learn the definition of INDUSTRY STANDARD.

Waste of space? LOL, you are getting schooled beyond belief. :hi:
