It is a legal punch!!!!

No one is actually arguing that it is a cheap punch or a sucker punch, except probably less than 10 posters in ESB, in a predictable manner.

its not a sucker punch when its legal sadly.....Not Floyds responsibilty...you learn to never take your eyes of your opponent the first time you step in a boxing gym....its the rule of thumb for every fighting discipline...protect yourself at all times, what was Floyd supposed to do say

"hey victor, im bout to throw a left hook followed by a right, are you ready?"

 

It was a sucker shot, plain and simple. Ortiz wasnt looking and Floyd popped him. Is that Floyd's problem no. Was Ortiz a moron for dropping his hands, yes.

But it was a sucker punch. It isnt the first time Floyd did it either.

sucker punch is when you hit someone from a blindside. how the **** do you sucker punch someone right in front you. cheap shots come from behind or the side, not in front of your face. cant call cheap if the guy is in your face bout smash your face.

How much (centimeter, inch,foot,etc)to the side would the opponent be for it to be considered a sucker punch?

An opponent who was not looking,regardless wheteher it is to the side,in front, to the back is still a cheap shot in any language.

 

a suckerpunch can come from anywhere if some chump is taking a verbal that hasn't escalated to his advantage.

if i had issue with someone i wouldn't take that shot unless they really earnt it. as some drunks do...

 

so victor drop his eyes or turn away or what ever the case and floyd is the one called for a sucker punch. so all victor has to do is lookaway or down and then you cant hit him because its unsportsmen like get the **** out of here.
