If Jai Opetaia stepped up to HW today where would you rank him?

He’s on the light side but he’s a stone, cold killer and there’s nothing for him at CW now. He beats Breidis in a rematch easily and Billam Smith would be cannon fodder.

At some point he will step up. Could he do an Usyk?

He is number 4 after Usyk, Fury and AJ

I think he's a bit small at this stage, take his time and if he fills out maybe in 2-3 years if he cleans out CW division

I was going to say he's about the same size as Frank Sanchez but then I looked to make sure. Sanchez weighs 246. He looks so much smaller than that in the ring to me for some reason.

How does he beat Briedis easily when Briedis broke his jaw, and about 35-40% of peopel felt he won?

Not saying you are wrong...I like the man. I just don't get it.

As to where he would be ranked...how can we know? He beat Briedis, whose best heavyweight win is Charr. I guess he could be on the lower end of the top ten of one of the alphabets.

Pretty sure I have answered this question for you previously.

If you cannot see he is the best CW in the world by that far it isn’t funny then your eyes must be painted on.

I don’t think too many HW’s would bother him.

Very impressed, like to see him see off some better opposition. Still needs some refinement in my opinion but nonetheless a future star.

When he arguably did not defeat Briedis...no...definitially not "by far."

He beat Briedis and he beat him well.

    Only an idiot thinks otherwise.

Of cause he beat briedis and also fighting with a broken jaw for 10 rounds and i dnt know where you pulled your 35 to 40% of people think he lost from but my guess would be out of your arse

Opetaia is a strong and versatile fighter, I would immediately place him in the Top 5 in the heavyweight division...

I would have him fight Dubois.

Now that’s a good starting point for Opetaia. I think he handles Dubois but DDD certainly gives him a fight.

Nah. He could end up like Gassiev not carrying his power to HW.

If I were Opetaiai I'd stay CW.
