He would've been ATG, or would the lack of competition worked against him. Kirland and Haye are a lot alike. Very fast, big hitters. (Kirland probably hits harder) though we did see Kirkland was not as one-dimensional as Benn with they way he beat up Joel Julio. So it' safe to say that Kirkland would've walked through all those guys Benn did. But as he is American, that works against you in ATG, would he still be talked about, or would he be just another Calzaghe?
Hahahahaha, I just find this thread kinda ironic because it's Kirkland's era right now & dude ain't around.
Kirkland and Haye are not even close to similar. Kirkland is a non-stop coming forward force, whereas Haye relies on reflexes and pin-point accuracy. Kirkland would've been raped by the likes of Eubank,Benn,Watson and even Collins. And don't even get me started on the likes of Toney/RJJ/McCallum. Hell, I'd take Donald Curry to smoke his boots at 154lbs. Oh, now I see why this thread was made.. nevermind go on
You can belittle Kirkland all you want; I'm going on record stating that the guy has underrated skills, unparalleled balls, and probably second to none when it comes to lack of fear. He is just a beast. I thought he was getting out this year, now I hear its next year. Anybody know any concrete info on a possible release? I literally am counting the unknown days til I see him in the ring again...
The dude is a criminal. he had alot going for him but made a decision to commit a crime and he is now paying for it. He could have been making cash in the ring instead he is in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System.
