atsch Why would you even think that? Number of middleweights he's knocked out since moving up: 1, in five fights at MW, after his eardrum was perforated. Look at their KO percentages, look at the manner of most of their knockout victories. It's a different ballpark, by far, as brute force goes.

I admit, it might be a different fight than many expect, as far as competitiveness and dangerous enough for Martinez, as far as we know. :conf But I'd still strongly favour Martinez.

 

Martinez would KO Taylor, if not early, he would eventually with Taylor's poor stamina. Why would Martinez even take this fight? Jermain Taylor is finished, he's yesterday's man. There'd be more interest and money for him fighting the live dogs at 160-168.
