I swear she's just like actress Goldie Hawn (sp?). I saw one fight where she was on the side of the ring with the most used camera angle, and you could see she was daydreaming, eyes just in a daze and off to the side, all the while two men were fist fighting 5 feet in front of her! Nutty as squirrel **** I tell ya'.

Taylor had Pavlik finished in what, the 2nd or 3rd? when he neglected to go the body Pavlik survived...had Taylor finished we wouldn't even be talking about Pavlik right now, and Taylor surely would've landed the Calzaghe fight...if Taylor gets a win over Froch, a 3rd Taylor/Pavlik fight at 168 interests me...

this makes and brings up a great point....

is kelly pavlik REALLY that good?

minus his jt victory he doesnt have much to speak about

  4. JT was 29. Joe wouldn't have fought him. It would break his rule.

Fighter in his prime - only if he is of average ability or less

Great fighter - only if he is worn or 40.

I agree that Steward underestimated, or at least mis-evaluated Pavlik.

I think overall Steward relied too much on Taylor's physical talents without working enough on his technique or game planning. Maybe Manny's stable of fighters was too big and he didn't have enough time to devote to working out the kinks in Taylor's game; whatever it was, it just didn't work out.
