Does he fight black fighters? Does he change his technique or the be the exact same fighter? My predictions:

    Tyson KO5
    Holyfield UD12
    Lennox KO7
    Bowe UD12

1990 is a very strong era and Jeffries wouldnt cut the mustard but may cut the top10 beating the odd contender.

Of course he fights black fighters.

He turns pro in 1990. As to what his technique may be like in those circumstances, that is for you to say.

Jeffries problem was he often got outboxed and relied on outmuscling smaller opponents late on. He would get outboxed by the more skilled fighter BUT This time he would be the smaller man or equally sized man and be up against bigger punchers.

He'd possibly take the level of a Mercer or McCall type

Jeffries raw natural talent would be a good foundation to work with in any era.

It is fair to say that he was the best all round athlete of all the heavyweight champions by a significant margin. Today with modern training methods he would easily weigh in at 230 lbs+ in lean condition so he would not exactly be a small heavyweight.

    You have-

    size
    speed
    power
    durability
    reflexes
    an iron will

If you cant do something with that then you are probably just not a verry good trainer.

Not sure, I dont think any one would have heard of him, if he turn pro in 1990. I dont see how its possible to even turn pro since Jeff was decease since the 50's.

He certaintly had the size and strength, with modern tecnique and training he should be better, had the base foundation and reflexes to be great in any era

    :thumbsup

The biggest question is how he would have adapted to todays shorter distances.

    ----

I think 230+ Ilbs is, if anything, conservative. If environmental influences resultant from getting born at a later date also add any height, I think it's very possible Jeffries could have ended up a very fit 240 Ilbs. And probably very strong for that size, too.
