The JMM win vs Floyd is a bigger win than Pac beating Hatton since Floyd already KOed Hatton.

Would it be enough to put JMM ahead of Pac in P4P ranking?

    your thoughts?

jmm should be #1 if he beats floyd. it'll be much more impressive than beating the hitman

Honestly, you still believed JMM beating Pac is the only way to put him above Pac in P4P? A Floyd win can corroborate a draw-lost record of JMM from Pac. IMO

Marquez would be P4P#1. PBF > Hitman

No but if pac keeps getting noteable wins then yes I think he needs to fight Pac and win to prove some of the doubters wrong.

Yes, Marquez would be p4p #1. Let's be honest here. If Floyd fights JMM, his "retirement" doesn't really count then. He wouldn't have even been out of boxing for 2 years. ****, Winky Wright took a longer break than that and he never retired. Floyd maintains his p4p #1 in my opinion. The man never lost. If JMM beats him, he is p4p #1.

JMM cannot beat Floyd. He is too small and Floyd is quicker. Diaz was not Floyd. Floyd is still overrated. Overrated not because of talent since he is a greatly skilled, but he has not beaten anyone to warrant being ATG or HOF.

jmm beating floyd of course. many people believe jmm beat manny both times since they were very close fights that could of gone either way and think jmm should be #1 especially after taking on the best lightweights which were casa and juan diaz. i personally have jmm #1 until pacman beats hatton, then i'll have pacman back at #1.

    hmm says....
that's a fooking scenario. ....by context it would be JMM who will be #1. I will laugh my ass off IF PBF loses his tuneup with JMM. But I will also be happy, because it sets up another trilogy, the most epic one in boxing history, for the true p4p champ. And I'ld pay money to see that fight.

you're crazy floyd will be a shoo in for the hall of fame in his first year of eligibility like it or not. castillo x2, corrales, hernandez, hatton, de la hoya, gatti, baldomir, judah, chavez is a good enough list to get nearly anyone in the hall add to the fact that he was the p4p king, the most dominating fighter of his era, has an excellent overall skillset that you'd be hardpressed finding in the possession of any fighter from any era and he is undefeatedand.... you have yourself a guarantee in the HOF without question.

to answer the question posed in the thread- this scenario would 100 percent give marquez the #1 p4p title
