You have been caught numerous times. You STILL haven't managed to tie 'dominance in a bout' to the discussion another poster and I were having about the likely nature of a Calzaghe-Jones stoppage, but let's leave that forgotten for you, since you clearly have no answer and prefer to get personal.

I work at a computer and I am often busy, I love having ESB open to speak about boxing and leave my daily toil behind, so for once I couldn't care less about 'language and rhetoric', I type and think quickly, I have no need or desire to prove my academic credentials on a boxing forum. It is a shame I am being asked to on ESB. This is usually what happens when someone cannot grasp an argument, we get personal. I won't begin making assumptions about you and your life, not my style.

This forum does not only have 1000 members, and if it has had 1000 views, how many actual different posters do you think that is?? Couple of hundred max as many of us have been on it many times, and many of the views would have been before your valiant submission to the grace of the Forum, and many wouldn't have even bothered to read your biased ramblings. I certainly wouldn't have, if it hadn't been for the fact you 'randomly' selected me to attack from a few people saying the same thing. Couple of hundred = a small portion of the ESB. So despite your large font and carefully chosen non-expletive insults, you were still wrong.

You started this argument off on the wrong foot with some idiotic post about how a stoppage doesn't reflect the dominance of a bout, which you very quickly realized had nothing at all to do with the subject in hand, but were too much of a stubborn and superior child to concede that, and would happily continue this until next year than do so now.

1 last 1 then just in response to you Caldragon: I would have been happy to end it pages ago, but this guy just wouldn't let it go. I agreed with someone who said Calzaghe's best chance of an early win was a stoppage in the way he stopped Manfredo, Sobot, Veit I, Mitchell, probably many others. Others agreed. For some reason, this guy selects me to have a go at, and does so by writing all this bs about how a stoppage doesn't reflect the dominance of a bout- sorry, but what has that got to do with the nature of the stoppage itself, which is what we were talking about? That's right, zero. But then obviously he refused to just say "fair enough" as he was trying in typically misguided fashion to defend Calzaghe when I wasn't attacking him. And then the personal stuff starts, and the relentless arguments about irony (which he does not understand) and other strands of bollocks that were just a waste of everyones time, and a waste of a decent thread IMO. Disappointing, but that's what happens on here sometimes.

I challenged him to criticize those who agreed with me at the outset in the same way he went at me - he shirked it.

I challenged him to back up him accusing me of being a hater - he shirked that too.

Rather than go to the trouble of doing either, it was more convenient just to keep spinning out petty arguments.

My final word is, the way you can always tell if a guy is just a troll looking for an argument is to check through the thread and see if they came on by engaging with the subject of the thread.

We are now on page 7, and Cuchulain has not given his answer to this question. He had a brief discussion about JMM, before launching into his attack on me, which he devoted far more time and energy to. But no answer.

As I said, I go on holiday tomorrow for a week so I won't see any reply from Cuchulain if there is one (hopefully not as he shouldn't be dragging out his bitchfest any longer), but if you do reply Cuchulain,

how about an answer to the actual question which is the point of the entire thread????
