will he have a strong argument for the p4p title. jm arguably beat the p4p king pacman twice. whatever your opinion on the verdicts you cannot deny that those fights were very close.

he would of also beaten the linear champ in Casamayor

No he won't, stop talking rubbish.

He is nowhere near being p4p king.

He wouldn't have a claim for ****. Whether or not YOU think he beat Pac, you still need to look at the Ws and Ls.

I think it's very questionable to even have JMM ranked above his brother, P4P.

We will find out soon if indeed he can win againts casa, if he loses though he will not get the chance to square off against the p4p king

Even if he wins and you rate him as highly as possible and you are a 100% Marquez nuthugger you can still only put him #3 behind Calzaghe and Pac.

Oh, and beating Casamayor doesn't help JMM's claim much more than beating Diaz helps Pac's claim. Casa is DONE. Casa got his ass kicked by Santa Cruz. Diaz beat Santa Cruz, and got less of an asswhooping before the stoppage. Casa was getting beaten by Katsidis before coming from behind. Katsidis went life-and-death with British journeyman Earl and Pinoy prospect Amonsot, and just isn't all that good. If he beats Casa, it gives him a lineal title, but that's about it.

I hope that he wins though so, we can all have the pleasure to witness the fight against manny, in order to put an end to this discussion referring to who is the better man. imo I think pac is way better than jmm but, thats just my opionion though no disrespect to jmm fanatics

Sta Cruz is the real Lineal Champ in my book. Casa vs JMM means nothing. Casa's shot!!!

Casa's shot, but a shot Casa is still a formidible opponent. It's a pretty decent win if he wins because Casa's really tricky and JMM's a bit smaller.

i thinks its between 5 fighters:
    Cotto
    Pac
    Israel Vasquez
    JMM
    Joe Calzaghe

there is no one that truly has did enough to stand out amongst the rest. Pac has got to beat JMM clearly to claim the crown.

vasquez has beat a lot of class fighters over the past few years. if cotto beats marg good I reckon that wil propel him into the numebr 1 spot in a lot of people eyes

if anyone deserves the nod I would say it is Calzaghe. He has beat elite boxers in Bernard Hopkins (bhop is still a force) and Mikkel Kessler during the last year

JMM is a great fighter but if he wins against Casa there is no reason to put him in the P4P #1 spot, if he wins against Casa, who is a very dangerous opponent, it will help JMM's career and make a case of why he should still be in the top P4P fighters. Israel Vazquez #1 P4P-NO, Cotto-NO, JC-NO. If Pac keeps winning there is no reason to take him out of that spot.
