If JMM beats Pac, where does this leave Pac vs Floyd?

If JMM beats Pacquiao (which he wont), there will be NO Floyd-Manny fight. Im a Floyd fan and I want to see Floyd VS Manny but I honestly dont think Floyd would fight Manny if Manny lost to Juan Marquez. Because Floyd will then say, "Manny lost to JMM, and I beat JMM."

Well Pac and JMM would rematch. Floyd would ask for a bigger cut if Manny got his ass whipped. Manny would ask for a bigger cut if he beat JMM and Floyd would've lost to Ortiz as well. That is just the way things work. It would actually make the Martinez vs Mayweather fight more possible if Manny lost.

 

Floyd actually did say if Pacquiao lost, he'd still fight him if he wanted it

 

Or Mayweather-Khan...Martinez-Mayweather would only take place if Sergio beats Angulo and Cotto. He just doesn't have a big enough following to justify the risk at this point.

THE SAME REASONS THAT ARE BEING USED TO SAY "HE'S A DIFFERENT FIGHTER NOW" ARE THE SAME REASONS BEFORE THE 2ND FIGHT.

 

If Marquez beats Pacquiao there will be no Mayweather/Pacquiao. Based on their first two fights, no result would surprise me.
The question would be is who should Mayweather fight. The choices will be Martinez at 154-160 who depending on who you ask is the third or fourth best boxer in the world. The other choice would be a rematch with Marquez. Mayweather domanated Marquez which on the surface would mean a lack of intrest in a rematch. However, If Marquez beats Pacquiao at 144 he will become a more ligitmit boxer at that weight. The question that needs to be asked is can he fight at 147? I don't see Mayweather fighting at less than 147 again.

 

If he loses to JMM then it means he doesnt belong in the same ring with Floyd tbh, at least at this stage. He should not lose to JMM, it would be a huge upset.
