Lets say Porter vacates for refusal to fight Brook. And the belt becomes vacant and JMM beats Senchenko for the belt, how much credit would you give him and would you consider him a true 147 and 4 division champ?

It's actually a five division champion he'd be going for because I guess they factored in the interim WBO Light Welterweight belt or maybe they elevated it to full champion later. And the answer is in-between for me, I'd give him credit for doing it, but unless he defended the belt against a better opponent later I'd consider him a paper champion at the weight. And honestly, I think there's a decent number of Welters that would beat Marquez. Senchenko isn't one of them though.

Id consider him a 5 weight champion still given he was robbed again V Pacquiao for the WBO (and i scored the Bradley fight 115-113 Marquez) but I wouldnt consider beating Senchenko a solid win given that Brook/Malignaggi both stopped him and the fact that the belt is vacant

Thing is he would have to either fight Floyd/Manny again to get a legit belt at 147 and with the way Floyd dominated him first time around his best bet is to beat Pacquiao again for the WBO in a 5th fight.

Personally id like to see him have 1 more fight and retire

    Manny Pacquiao - WBO
    Shawn Porter - IBF
    Mayweather - WBC/WBA

Any one of those fights I would love to see

Pacquiao is an old rival but thats been done to death although I wouldnt complain if this fight was made now. Marquez UD / Late stoppage at this point given how slow Manny looked in his last fight and how fresh Marquez looked last night

Porter is the up and comer, high risk low reward but it would be a perfect send off and the 5th world title without having to rematch Pac again

Mayweather looked bad in his last fight but mostly due to him fighting the way he did but regardless the first fight Marquez came up in weight from 135 . . . . now hes a fully fledged welterweight (despite he could still make 140 seeing as he weighed in at 141.5 under the 143 catchweight) and would likely do better in a rematch against Floyd but doubtfull he would do enough to win

Marquez is a warrior regardless but Senchenko doesn't deserve a shot @ any belt after being smashed by Brook... If Porter vacates then it should be Kell Brook #1 vs whoever is #2 In the IBF rankings simple! So many average fighters get title shots nowadays when they aint deserving all becos the champs want a voluntary defence instead of facing worthy mandatory's... Or they vacate like cowards!! You shouldn't be allowed to vacate unless ur injured etc, If u wanna vacate becos ur scared u should be forced infront of a camera to explain why ur such a ****ing *****!! JS.

Whoever scored the fight for Marquez against Bradley really needs to learn "How to score a fight"... Or get there eyes tested.
