If JMM is competitive but loses by SD or MD in Nov, does that put him above Morales?

In the sense of rating them historically? Absolutely not. But, it would help to reaffirm my belief that Marquez is a better boxer than Morales and on par as a total package, as a fighter.

I have him above Morales anyway and going all the way upto 144lbs and fighting on even terms with Pacquaio after beating him twice imo, well yes it'd enhance his legacy

Morales actually has a convincing win over Pac. That's gotta' count for something?

But yeah, I'd probably rate JMM as a fighter above Morales, too. He's always impressed me the most out of the three amigos (JMM, EM and MAB)

between MAB, JMM, and Morales...i've kinda stopped trying to figure out who is the best. They are ALL awesomely talented in their own unique way, and I just accept that they're on the same level as each other when all is said and done.

A competitive fight against Pacquiao considering all of the disadvantages will simply be a reminder.
