If JMM is top3 P4P shouldn't there be bigger demands on his competition. The top 2 guys without doubt at 135 are Campbell and Guzman. Ideally Campbell and JMM would square off to give us a clear number 1, although Guzman too has proven himself of deserving by beating 2 top5 men at 130. So fights with Guzman or Campbell would be great but instead none of the top 3 at 135 are squaring off. Its a travesty that Guzman ****ed up the fight against Campbell but like it or not hes still a top dog

Yet JMM is fighting Campbell's left overs in Diaz on the basis that Diaz gets a win over Katsidis who got ko'd by Casa and otherwise is unproven at the world level. Campbell looks like he is fighting the old Barrera who has lost his last 2 major fights (incidently Barrera easily beat Peden who twice beat Campbell). Guzman is in no mans land fighting another irrelevant fight. Pacman seems to forever have left the LW division behind saying if he fights JMM again it will be above lightweight.

Anyone else find this situation very disapointing?

This is a bunch of BS.
How the hell are Campbell and Guzman the top 2 guys at 35?You could make a case for Campbell but JMM beat the man in Casa, and there is Juan Diaz there,we also are not counting Manny etc.And Guzman?Who hasn't even fought at 135.....and he is proven by beating guys at 130?What the hell has that to do with being proven at 135?
And their future fights aren't st but Cmpbell vs Funeka and JMM vs Diaz sounds good.

Marquez is the champ at lightweight and is coming off fights with Pacman and Casamayor back to back, that aint bad company to be mixing it with.

Lightweight is packed there are several fights I wanna see, but JMM v Campbell makes the most sense, that would clean up the confusion on who the champ is.

i also wanna see Guzman in action, wheres he gone?!

    Nopes . . . why disappointing?

JMM vs Campbell will happen . . . maybe not now or immediately but it will happen within 2009 or if JMM decides to return to 130 then there's Linares who has just captured the WBA belt.

Guzman? Yeah right . . . he ****ed up . . . so he has to work his way up into title fights.

Pacquaio? He is targetting Hatton which is even better.

Guzman has how many fights at 135 again?

JMM has faced Rocky Juarez, MAB, Manny Pac, Joel Casamayor recently and is setting up for a fight against Juan Diaz.

That's pretty damn good if you ask me.

Wait how is Guzman a top 135 lb fighter? He has never even fought at that weight.
Which is funny considering he cant make weight.
Guzman will never be a top 135 lb fighter. At 130 he couldnt even hurt someone. Now you think at 135 he would be able to. I think he intentionally didnt make weight just to avoid the Campbell fight. Campbell was gonna rough him up and make him his *****. He probably realized this in the last few weeks leading up to the fight.

JMM is just hoping the 3rd Pac fight will fall onto his lap.

The guy needs to do something about it, disrupt Pacquiao's plans like getting to Hatton before Pacman does.

    And Guzman doesnt deserve ****.
