I guess that's what happens when people don't have the ability to break down fights themselves. They resort to accusing others of thinking of themselves as "the boxing god.":rofl

read what you are typing child. there is a difference between saying "calzaghe might be able to outwork toney", and "toney would take a few rounds with some right hands , but clazaghe would adapt blah blah blah"....it just makes people ignore what you are saying because it is so bias. way too subjective.

You're citing 95% of posters here then as way too subjective...

And for ****'s sake, it's Christmas. Lighten up. I don't care if you don't do Christmas yourself, just have some consideration for others. The negativity is unnecessary.

Since when does the word "adjusting" make a fantasy analysis/prediction a bias one?

A good competitive fight which Joe would do well in but I cant go past the better all round boxer in Toney. Joe does a few things well but I would take Toney to win the greater number of times out of ten times fought.

when did i say that the word "adjusting does make a prediction bias"? you are not a good reader or listener, therefor you have no credibility in my book.

    This is what you said:

but clazaghe would adapt blah blah blah"....it just makes people ignore what you are saying because it is so bias. way too subjective.

From that, I concluded that you believe saying a fighter would adapt is "so bias" and "way too objective"

i think people are forgetting just how many close fights toney had at the lower weights.

reggie johnson a stand in the pocket boxer /puncher decked him and toney won a razor thin fight

tiberi a windmill fighter with little skill just kept on throwing punches and toney potshotted inbetween but was frustrated that his opponent would just not stop punching.

mccallum had 2 very close fights 1 was a draw from memory.

    nunn maybe relevent to clazaghe.

nunn for tthose not old enough to remember him and watch his career, was a tall. fast handed southpaw with fast feet as well, something very similar to dawson although had more power than dawson in his left who liked to box from the outside and not really mix inside .

toney beat nunn in the 11th but up unitil about round 9 when nunn started tiring and his workrate dropped considerably was basically doing to the flat footed plodding forward toney what he liked, bouncing combos of toneys head at will winning everything and was way way ahead before toney produced his coup de grace.

toney simply could not cope with nunn`s handspeed or footspeed and adopted a wlak through everything in the hope of landing a hail mary.

to toney`s credit he duly did .

tim littles was toneys best win at 168 , but toney had a lot more trouble and closer fights with certain styles than calzaghe has ever had.

calzaghe is a mixc of tiberi /reggie johnson and nunn , so IMO undoubtably he would give that version of toney a very very hard fight.
