That is ******ed. Just proves why people who've never put on a pair of gloves sometimes get the wrong end of the stick entirely. Getting hit with 80 punches flush in the head/ round for 12 rounds is much worse than being "hurt" by one punch. Calzaghe could end up ruining Froch as a fighter in a way that Froch getting KOed "brutally" by a big puncher couldn't even compare.

Imagine if Jones was 80 foot tall and shot laser beams from his eyes...

You're such a jerk, shut up about glass jaws. Jones did not have a glass jaw.

I'm assuming someone has already provided the OP with the obvious answer?

Even a shot-to-**** Jones has a much better defense than Carl Froch.

Exactly. I don't think anyone has claimed Calzaghe would stop Froch. It would be a decision victory, and a wide one.

Calzaghe has proven himself to be a much better boxer with good stamina, plus hes a southpaw. I think hes aware hes not a KO puncher either, so he paces himself correctly, something Taylor cant seem to do.

calzaghe only had two fights at 175,both against legends who both put him on his ass in the first round.

froch however is nowhere near this league ,if calzaghe did come back at 168 froch would have a beating for twelve rounds,120-108 ud. and look like lacy did.

Joe had a nice low risk ,high reward career.
Raked in a load of cash from the patriotic fans who followed him.
Then at the end of his career he fought a couple of past their prime big names in vegas. If thats the way he wanted to do his career then so be it.

As talented as JC is on some level, bc he is more than a decent fighter he is still the biggest sham in boxing history as far as Im concerned. Considering he is undefeated I mean, being undefeated is Marciano status...JC aint no Marciano. What has he really done? Compare him to a real champion with L's on his record, somebody who fought everybody like even DLH. Besides stepping in with a green and unproven Lacy he has only stepped in the ring with Kessler and past their prime fighters(Hopkins, Jones in which he was DROPPED! lol). He may have proven himself in the Europe(I dont doubt that for one minute)but I know he hasnt beaten the best America has to offer in his division. If you are a WORLD champion you should beat the best in the world. I dont respect him bc he waited..and waited...and then waited some more until all the real threats in America had faded then made his move taking on the best of our has beens. JC has a better record than someone like DLH but I have no where near the same amount of respect for JC as I do for DLH and Im not even a big DLH fan...im just saying!

I think Froch will get ducked and Froch is a little bit above average...hes slow and tough with a hard punch, thats it, skill wise JC could take him...but bc Froch is a risk, he will most likely skip him and keep studying fighters until he finds his prey. He will probably wait until somebody beats Taylor again and then challenge Taylor and beat him and then retire.:lol::lol:
