    Lacy must have VERY thin skin...he was bleeding badly, but i do not recall anyone ele doing that to him

    He slaps, get over it. It's effective for him and 45 opponents couldn't do anything about it, but he does slap.

    calzaghe uses slaps but their effective, but not every dam punch is a slap, people just take it over the top. it scores points and wins fights end of story

    Sorry, I should also say that not all of his shots are slaps. He just has an awkward and effective way of fighting. I find him entertaining to watch and have done for years.

    He does throw some slaps in there but people go way over the top with this.

    If he was American he would be worshipped by all the yanks on this board.

    very true, it seems to be the yanks who give joe calzaghe the most stick on here, but there has not been an american to beat him yet, roy jones or pavlik will be next on his list

    If you slapped a rhino in the face, around the eyes, over a 1000 times it would bleed. point being? Calzaghe is a great fighter and his style is very effective but he slaps the majority of the time.

    No He just got hit flush over and over and over in the same spots, eventually your skin is gonna wear from the accumulation
