It's ridiculous mentioning Calzaghe in the same breath as Mayweather when talking about skills. But then Calzaghe fans are some of the most deluded there is, so it's no surprise.

haha!! look who floyd is matched up against here. this fight would never happen. then, later in his career when floyd finally loses, joe's fans can say that he was looking for this fight the whole time and was being ducked.

    Maybe at matchmaking!

Speed..At 168 Joe is faster than most WW. 154 Joe would be able to match speed.

    Neither are punchers.
    Defense--- Floyd
    Offence--- Joe

Even match up. Skills are different, but there are at the highest level for both guys.

Calzhage was not very talented. That is why he stayed in his place while James Toney....RJJ ....and Hopkins were in their primes.

Joe is that dog that stops barking when you open the gate:lol:

His speed was more like slap velocity.
He leaned straight back and was a sucker for right hands...

Sven Ottke had better fundementals and was an all around better fighter than The Welsh Rabbit:deal:deal:deal

    At least he didn't slap.

Maybe in WBO land that is true ......but not anywhere else.

He beat Hopkins....so did Jermain Taylor...twice.

He beat RJJ....only after he'd been put to sleep...twice.

Joe actually fough the LOSER of an elimination bout:rofl
.You can't make this stuff up.

Had Mayweather pulled a stunt like that he'd be laughed off the planet.

If Joe Calzhage is a great fighter, then so is Sven Ottke.

There is no doubt in my mind Ottke could beat the same Hopkins and RJJ that Calzhage fought:deal

Look at Hopkins against Calzaghe.. Floyd would have no problems at all. If Calzaghe could punch it might be a different story.
