Its true I'm black and still think that in a way, but Hop was stupid for saying that and it backfired on him as far as attendance
I'm glad you brought Kessler u, because that who Pavlik needs to fight first to test his self. I will pick Kessler which isn't a bad thing, because I like Kelly also.
Relentless fighters don't tend to do well against smarter fighters with the same level of stamina and more handspeed.
Pavlik seems easier to hit than Kessler is. It would be an interesting fight, personally I think Arthur Abraham beats them both though.
See I haven't seen enough of AA, but he has some work ahead of him against Miranda. But I respect them for all stepping up, besides Sturm who had the ball in his hand after Hoya :-( .
Probably because you know as much about Abraham as most people knew about Kessler prior to Calzaghe. Abraham is a strong strong puncher, with great combinations, fast hands and an ability to fight despite massive pain. He should slaughter Miranda, I feel. He's the wrong type of fighter for a guy like Kessler/Pavlik because of his ability to bust them up.
Is he more of a boxer/puncher or just a brawler and how you feel about Taylor. I think fighting Tito would had been the best thing for him to get that respect after the Pavlik fights
Definitely a boxer-puncher, he has good technique, you don't manage to survive during a fight against a powerful puncher like Miranda with a broken jaw without being able to defend yourself. Taylor needs to reassess whether or not he truely wants to be in the game. In my view, he's taken massive backwards steps since his first fight with Hopkins, his boxing isn't as good as it was. It's almost like he believed his own hype and isn't hungry anymore.
I have seen Abraham against Ikeke, Jantuah, Miranda, Gevor and Elcock. I just don't think he has what it takes to beat a bigger, stronger and more well-rounded Kessler. Though I think he's got a good chance at KO'ing Pavlik. And I think he's going to KO Miranda this time in impressive fashion.
Thats the way it is when you make the money he did, but I really think he is in the gym working hard if you ask me. The way he looked against Pavlik in the second fight was a suprise to me with nelson. ALL HE NEEDS TO DO IS WORK ON HIS STAMINA
