If you could trap Amsterdam or someone like him and get him off, I'd be all for it.

You bring a good sense of humour to the place and you don't seem to disrespect fighters out and out, more posters like you are needed, not less.

I haven't been this sure about a fight for Calzaghe since the Lacy fight.

Uggghhhh. You had to do it didn't you, my new ESB buddy.

    Pavlik does NOT = Lacy.

It has become quite clear too, that that fight is the basis for most peoples assumption that Pav is tailor made for Calzaghe.

It would be a hell of a fight IMO, I would love to see it. But if needs be, I WILL be going down with the ship.

Don't get me wrong, Lacy would get pulverised by Pavlik.

The Pavlik vs Calzaghe fight would be more competitive, in the vein of the Kessler fight.

Differentiating Pavlik and Kessler is where I have issues, the only thing I can say is that Pavlik has fought and beaten more proven competition than Kessler has.

Once again, fine post that I have no qualms with. My thing with Kessler, esp. against Cal, where the hell was his adaptability? I saw too many times in that fight where he should have pulled the trigger and did not. He went back to his corner after each round looking like he wanted to get the fook out of there.

He had none. What I was more alarmed with was that his corner couldn't come up with any good suggestions either, Kessler was fighting alone in that fight.

Jack Loew seems to bring the best out of Pavlik in the same way that Enzo seems to bring the best out of Calzaghe.

It's a shame Kessler didn't have someone like that with him.. if I was Kessler's corner, I'd have stopped the fight after Round 8 - Kessler was disheartened from that point on
