    I like this response as I feel a lot of the weight of Ali's win over Foreman is predicated on the fact that Ali, lost to Frazier in the FOTC, and then Frazier got blown out of the water by Foreman. Naturally if Frazier defeated Ali, retired and never lost to Foreman, than Ali's win over Foreman wouldn't carry the same importance. But to see the man who was interim heavyweight champion, who defeated 'The Greatest' and handed Ali his first loss, be thrown around by Foreman in the way Frazier was suffering an utter defeat, and to have Foreman defeated by Ali is what cemented Ali's legend IMO.

    Regardless, they paled in comparison to the hundreds, likely thousands of things Ali said or did.

    Me too. No wonder he did n't fight again for ten months!
