“I can fight at practically any weight right now. I can drop down to 168 pounds and take on (Joe) Calzaghe. I’ll fight him anywhere he wants.Says RJJ.

I wouldn't be suprised,if the Hopkins-Calzaghe fight don't materialize,I could possibly see trying to make a fight with the winner of Tito-RJJ. With Calzaghe taking a minor fight in between.

It's possible - Joe is looking to put Big Names on his resume before he retires. So, it will either fight Hopkins or Jones - if they don't fight each other.

You don't hear any of these guys calling out Chad Dawson - funny how his name gets left out of any Light Heavyweight talk from the other fighters. Only person calling him out is Glen Johnson - but he's desprite for any fight.

Clinton Woods is also after Dawson, so your right. None of the BIG names seem too interested at the moment.

RJJ vs Tito is a slightly better versain of Vargas vs Mayorga. Calzaghe should fight Taylor when he beats Pavlik!

I hope so, I would love to see Jones-Calzaghe. I'm pretty sure Jones is going to beat Tito convincingly.

why? the man has no legs anymore. it would be sad to see RJJ go out with a brutal beating. i've no doubt that a prime RJJ would beat joe handly, but todays version takes a career ending pounding.

Jones isn't interested in fighting anyone who has a chance.Hopkins is getting just as bad. These two should get together with Tito and enter a shuffleboard tournament and leave the boxing to real fighters.

To be fair, if Hopkins wants to keep claiming to be light heavyweight champ(which I believe him to be) he needs to be fighting light heavyweight contenders. He beat Tarver to claim this crown, and he has already defended against a fighter that is not a light heavyweight contender.

Calzaghe is a threat to his title, but he has not done anything at 175 lbs.

Hopkins should fight one his top contenders, like Chad Dawson, if he wants to continue to be recognized as champ. I know some of you will say Dawson is not a contender, he is a titlist; but I don't see it that way. I only recognize one fighter per division as champ, so everyone else are nothing mone than contenders.

I like Joe Calzaghe, and do feel he has been underrated for years. Joe just isn't showing a lot of class trying to force this fight. It would be different if Hopkins were younger, but Joe is chasing a near 43 year old. If Hopkins does lose to him, so what? He's approaching his mid 40's. Joe should try someone like Tarver, or Dawson, or Johnson, or even Jones if he wants to establish himself as a light heavy so bad.
