How many fighters throughout history can you name that dropped back down from Heavyweight and win the LHW title in the very next fight? That win gets underrated because he looked human for the first time, but it will add a lot to his legacy once the dust settles. It would have been better for Roid Jones to retire after Ruiz, he made the mistake to go down in weight after he abused roids to fight as a heavywegith so the damage to his body was clear, he needed to stop roiding in order to lose weight, that was his downfall. Beating Ruiz would not have brought him immortality where he could have retired and he be looked on as great. Ruiz was overrated. Leonard beating Hagler and retiring that is different. Since Hagler was great.
