Believe me, it pained me to make that post.:sisi1 But that's unfortunately one of the major drawbacks of the modern era, no matter how skilled many of today's fighters are and how well they H2H stack up against history's ATG's. The fact that most of the old guys had the sheer volume on their resumes going for them, it'll be hard to topple many of them. The era of fighters have 60 and 70 plus matches on their records more than likely ends with the re-retirement of Pacquiao and retirement of Canelo.

No chance that AJ is ranked anywhere near Wlad in terms of legacy. He was not even the best of his era, he was a manufactured champion and has a paper thin resume.

Fury has been far too inactive and did not make enough defences or has a large enough resume to be ranked above Wlad.

It isn't an option not to include losses when assessing careers.

They both surpassed Wlad a long time ago.

    Only joking.

Hell no. They are not worthy of carrying Wlad's jockstrap when it comes to being champions.

Every long reigning champion has soft touches on his resume. What matters is, Wlad cleaned out every top contender there was in his era. Fury didn't do it, not even close.

my opinion... can't be sparked out by the likes of purrity sanders brewster in that kind of fashion and be regarded as some kind of great. That's why he was protected against crap opponents who were very small, old, or useless. That's why he had dodgy ring canvases, glove clauses in contracts, short notice for opponents etc. He had everything his own way and always in Germany. It was the best thing ever when Fury schooled him and then for Joshua to pip him to the post was the final nail in coffin - thank goodness... it's over... what a relief it was.

There are a lot of things that can be fairly said about Wladimir that would push him down a tier or two among the "ATGs" . But nothing that would put him below where Fury and Joshua would place.

The canvas Wlad used was legal in Germany and the opponents would have known this when signing fight him months in advance.

Obviously, but it was to gain an advantage and the opponents would've had to agree to it to get the "payday" (if you can even call it that) or they'd have been chucked out.

the rest is right also would be quite funny to see someone try to disagree with any of the points since they are all demonstrable facts... all observable...
