Do you give Joshua credit if he beats Martin and becomes IBF world heavyweight champion? I could see Joshua first fight Takam and then go after Martin, which means Joshua isn't going to face any live body in 2016.

No, joshua would annihilate martin. One doesn't deserve credit for beating a total paper bought title holder..

There's at least 20 hw that would crush Martin, so meaningless for joshua

Yeah. Takam and Martin is not a bad year's work.

Hopefully then he would want Fury.

And what evidence do you have to back up that statement, I don't think anyone truly knows what Martin's ceiling is.

I'd be more impressed with a win over Takam, it would be a much tougher fight for Joshua, Takam beats Martin IMO.

The Takam fight is the bigger risk, I'd be more impressed by that than AJ beating Martin. Martin isn't a top 20 fighter, he's terrible, he throws arm punches, he's too upright and his chin is way up in the air.

If AJ beats Takam he'd walk through Martin.

If this ends up being the path he takes then I'd be happy with that. He beats a proven fighter in Takam, picks up an easy title and then hopefully has another easy defence in the UK. It would be a good 3rd year as a pro.

team joshua should go for it

takam and martin are well worth the risk , if say an ortiz gets there first then that would be much much harder fight.

i agree with brighton bombers ****ysis takam brings more to the table to threaten joshua / while martin is still unknown and his chin and abilty not fully tested / and joshua would be fighting a southpaw / martin is heavy handed / but is a plodder with no leg or head movement and no body torque or snap on his punches and would need to have a rock for a chin /possible? . to beat joshua.
