Asides from Fury, who is avoiding the fight for now, he would have cleaned out the division. Joshua would take Wilders head off no way is in the top 3 real world rankings.
Funny how Wilder has been written off since Fury dealt with him. If AJ had gone to Vegas and stopped Wilder in 7, Matchroom fans would be singing a different tune. Luis Ortiz is also another heavyweight that AJ needs to fight.
The reason why AJ vs Wilder has happend is Wilder management have no confidence in him winning that fight. Why does AJ need to fight Ortiz? Even Chisors has better career win than him. Plus again , Ortiz ducked AJ and his team wanted no part of that fight.
Is this a wind up? Resumes are we doing this again?? OK here goes Martin - wouldn't win a euro title if he was European, I walk this earth like a god is one of the worst heavyweight champions ever Whyte ,- has been knocked out by a shot to pieces 40 year old povetkin , lost to chizora who has lost 11 times, seconds away from.losing to Parker! Molina - not going to bother wasting time commenting on him Breazeale- same rules apply.as above Klitschko- threw away a nailed on victory by being unable to finish a fighter off due to being 42 at the time having had 2 years out of the ring, complete shell of his former self. Parker - he struggled with hughie Fury, enough said Ruiz - poor fringe level.fighter , got lucky with a temple shot, proved in rematch he is just a fat lump and nothing more. Povetkin - 10 years past his best when joshua fought him, still gave him problems for 5 rounds Pulev - euro level, lost easily against wlad, fought nobody of note ever! Takam - took the fight on 3 weeks notice and still gave joshua hell, took Joshua's so called amazing power even though chisora knocked him out!! Have i missed anyone??? Joshua beats Wilder now after he has been completely destroyed I agree , the Wilder pre Fury beats joshua first punch he lands end of!!
Just to be clear I'm not hating on joshua I'm just sick of hearing how amazing his resume is when it's clearly average! Best of a bad bunch maybe but still **** poor
Whyte, Klitschko, Takam, Parker, Ruiz, Povetkin, Pulev, Usyk. All top 10 fighters except maybe Takam who was still solid at the time. Fury has fought 3 top 10 fighters his whole career, Chisora (arguably), Klitchsko and Wilder. Ruiz is a solid fighter who arguably beat Parker for the WBO belt, no way is he fringe level in this era. Pulev has plenty of wins over solid Euro level fighters proving he is above that level however falls short at the top. Parker was a solid fighter back then but has struggled with injuries since. Povetkin unbeaten for 5 years when Joshua faced him, last loss to Klitchsko. Honestly if you think any version of Wilder beats any version of Joshua you are in dreamland. He's crap. Best active heavyweight resume by far.
I'm not denying it's probably the best resume I'm just trying to make you understand that being the best of a shite bunch doesn't mean joshua is this hof fighter you are trying to make him out to be!! Let's just see after Saturday and then we can discuss further
Especially when the so called boogeyman Ortiz not only turned down the chance to fight AJ as the Miller replacement but also turned down the chance recently to fight Hrgovic, Joyce and Wallin.
A lot more fighters he needs to fight to clear out the division… Quite a few good fighters coming through on top of the obvious Fury and/or Wilder. Even if Wilder loses to Fury I think Wilder AJ is a great fight. There’s an exciting KO coming either way…
