Depends on the method of victory. UD or SD then reputation maybe enhanced. (even though Fury beat a younger more active version). If it's a stoppage with knockdowns he could require further rebuilding. Can't see him being PPV straight away if he gets sparked.
No big deal Just get back on the bike and learn and understand why you fell off Maybe a step to soon on the other hand invaluable experience and a shyte load of cash
Gatekeeper fight against perhaps Chisora if they are desperate to keep him on PPV. Rematch may happen whatever the result.
AJ hasn't fought anyone like Klitschko & what I mean by that is that Klitschko is an intelligent fighter who is happy to win in a ugly and boring manner. Jabbing away and tying them up, essentially nullifying them. Up to now, and I'm not trying to discredit AJ, but he's been put in with people whom he's been able to relax and express himself with, where he could move straight in and pick his shots. He doesn't move his head or body enough or he hasn't had the need to. IMO Hearn is banking on Klitschko being passed it, compounded by inactivity. Even so, he won't allow AJ to move in and have his way so hopefully AJ will learn to win a different way by outworking Klitschko and winning rounds behind the jab. It's a massive learning fight win or lose.
So long as it's a competitive fight it shouldn't harm him much really. His idiot casual fans will go into meltdown which would be amazing. But losing to Wlad is no big deal in theory really, didn't shut Haye down
Of course he'll still be on PPV. He could get KO'd with the first punch of the fight and he'd remain PPV. I mean, c'mon, the standard for PPV in the UK is very low. If he loses I doubt they'd go for a rematch with Wladimir unless the fight is very close. That's too much risk. They'd go another route, maybe a non-title fight before a title shot, maybe straight in with a title shot. Parker would be willing, I guess. Wilder, I wouldn't count on.
Klitschko has most recently proven that he's also very happy to lose in an ugly and boring ( and barely existent) manner.
True, he was nullified by a quality fighter, his first defeat in 11 years. He's not my cup of tea. Bore's me to tears but his record speaks for itself.
