Wilder fans are blind with bias....................they think Sconiers and Nichols are the top two fighters in the world except for their fraud Wilder!

Joshua already stepped and unified at 19 fights. I don't care how Wilder fan boys would react, they are delusional anyway.

They have lost their minds now because AJ hasn't just accepted a Twitter call out and all demands Wilder has made.

It's a good point, Wilder has had 39 fights and done virtually nothing, Joshua has done far more after 20 fights.

Wilder fans (mostly American) are probably the same bunch who used to absolutely slaughter Kell Brook for having 30 fights and not fighting anybody.

    The hypocrisy is stunning.

Deontay Wilder has made 6 defences of his WBC crown in just under 3 years when he won it in January 15 including a spell recovering from surgery. Now he is looking to unify against Joshua as soon as possible. I have some complaints about the level of opposition he has faced but i cant really complain about the time frame of what he is doing at all. 6 defences in 3 years and now chasing the other belts sounds quite normal to me.

Joshua made 2 defences before unifying and has made 1 more before looking to unify again. 5 title fights in 18 months with a unification against an ATG.

Wilder is a bum who hides behind the WBC and their easy voluntary defences and ridiculous mandatories.

Yes Joshua is flying along and so far Hearn has balanced what his fighter wants with what makes business sense very very well. Thats gotta be seen as quick by anybodys standards. I dont think Wilders reign has run slow though, but the WBC are clealy protecting him, there is no justification for Stiverne to be anywhere near the top 10 of their rankings let alone best option for a mandatory.

I think people just get frustrated with Wilder's fanbase, more than Wilder himself.

What you saying is true, although I think wilder is chasing the payday in Joshua rather than the belts.

wilder failed to fight klitschko when he was active, which reinforces how he and his team have carefully run his career
for my mind, wilder saying he wants to fight Joshua doesn't hold much water until the fight is actually made
Joshua's stance I am much more receptive to, since he was ready and willing to fight wlad

Oh i agree on all of that although i do fully believe Wilder wants to face Joshua as soon as possible. Im only trying to point out the time scale with which Wilder has tried to unify. 6 defences in 3 years and wanting to unify now is not a bad time scale, its not fastracking like Joshua is and fair play to AJ and Hearn for that but Wilders time frame is fine. His level of opposition is poor and deserves the mocking it gets but im just talking about the times scales the OP was talking about.

But what if Joshua then says "You know what....i'm still massively inexperienced and learning on the job....I need 4-5 more fights before taking on Parker/Wilder/Povetkin etc"?

    He'd be ridiculed.

Joshua chased the belts without even being Champion a year. Shows the difference in their ambitions in boxing.
