If Joshua wins in April does he stay a stadium fighter?

If Joshua beats Klitschko, the bright lights of Vegas will be too alluring. British fans will travel in the thousands and that means the casinos will put up big money to stage his fights there.

 

Stadium fights are awful - the only decent seats are within the ringside inner square at £1k per pop and £3k on MutchroomStubHub.

The seats in the stands are simply too far away and the other seats on the pitch awful as you cannot see for people standing up in the ringside inner square.

The atmosphere also poor compared to a big indoor arena.

Once you have been to see Froch v Groves at Wembley in a good £200 seat in Tier 1, 10 rows back on the halfway line and find it is shyte, you don't go back.

 

He could fill Wembley again vs a few names out there or rematch Wlad if it's a close enough fight. The Vegas thing seems a bit far off just now, Wilder cannot even sell out his home town.

 

The days of their being big money & interest in Vegas for heavyweight fights are long gone - even for Wilder v Joshua. If that fight gets made in the future, then that would also be at Wembley no question.
The money and the powerbase for the heavyweight division is European based.
I would be surprised to see Joshua fight on US soil- I think the Americans will be happy to just watch on TV as they do now.

I think AJ will alternate between the 02 and Wembley. As he will no doubt fight only twice a year from now on.
