Juanma don't want to fight no good fighters, he's hiding behind the "Those guys ain't draws" argument. I think Juanma is all man and balls from that fight with Mtagwa but he's been acting like a bit of a *****. Caballero called him out in his own country and Juan Ma didn't want to see him. Gamboa would take that fight in a second but Bob want's to build it like if it will ever be a PPV fight, just make the ****ing fight already old man.
Fights like this need to get made. If Wlad vs. Haye and Pac vs. Floyd happen as well I can be a hardcore fan again. It needs to start with fights like this though that will make boxing fans happy and bring in new ones with how explosive it would be. On that note I think Gamboa will take some shots maybe even go down, but out hustle Juanma enough to win on points or a very late Ko.
I think it is an interesting match. Gamboa has improved but I consider Lopez to be a more fundamentally sound boxer, and Gamboa a superior natural athlete with less durability. It's a great fight to be made while they're both still undefeated.
A few fights back people were saying Lopez would lay Gamboa out. Now just because Gamboa beat a common opponent easier, everyone seems to believe he'd whoop Lopez
juanma by ko. gamboa has been hurt by way less skilled and power boxers. he will get tagged by juanma. now if he can walk through those...then i think he wins a decision. if not....long night till a ko for gamboa.
JuanMa has a decent chance of KO'ing Gamboa but Gamboa is the better boxer and if he goes the distance he will definitely take a wide UD. I'd have Gamboa as very slight favourite, but his chin isn't great and Juanma really packs a punch, 55/45 in favour of Gamboa.
Not true, people can make a very decent case as to why Juanma would KO Gamboa and it wouldn't be unrealistic. :nono
