These are two of my favorite fighters so this one is a tough one for me, but if i had to pick a winner, i'd say Gamboa. I think Gamboa's hand speed would make the difference. Gamboa has gotten a little better at keeping his hands up but i still notice he drops is hands whenever he gets comfortable. This is something he can't do against JuanMa no matter what.

How do you know all this, have you talked to juanma or have you been part of the negotiations. Or are you like many that goes by whats said around the forums by others and start repeating the same **** as gospel with out having any clue about the situation.

4 rounds thats it ...Gamboa is too fast throws way too many punches for Juan ...I like both fighters but this is a no brainer.

Gamboa would take this by KO. He has been vastly improving his defense and if he continues fighting good opponents up until this fight, I believe he will have his flaws sorted out by then.

Juanma is a great fighter, there is no question about it, but Gamboa has the raw natural gifts that only very very few of us are blessed with. I can see Juanma outboxing Gamboa for maybe 2-3 rounds, but I think Gamboa will really hurt him with some big punches.

I would say Gamboa KO in 7.

No bro, Gamboa has never been hurt, he is been dropped by some people to only get up and finish them like a perfect machine.
but i saw someone hurt, begging for the sound of the bell, againts the ropes while somebody(who Gamboa disposed of in 2 rds)was giving him hell
guess the name of that boxer?:deal

this is the fight that will show the weaknesses of gamboa. Lopez will beat him mark my words. The don't want to lose the hype that they have generated off of gamboa so they will not put these two in the ring with each other for at least another 3 fights or so, maybe not even at all.

I can see an early KO either way, ....more likely Lopez.
Probably wont make the fight for a while yet.
