No. It dont work like that, not for me anyway. He will definitely come out of the fight with HUGE amounts of respect if he does though.

I don't think P4P rankings can be given when the victorious boxer is the bigger man, however I do think he would be #1 at middleweight.

This.. well almost. If he outboxes him adn dominates him then he will be or should be top 5.
Not that it will happen anyways :D

Honestly depends on how Andre Ward looks in his next fight if he looks average and Dawson makes him work yes if he is dominant then Ward gets that spot and Chavez should be #4.
Either way he is going to knock out Martinez, when he does I expect team SB to deny him of his rightful place in the P4P ratings, they prefer the ***** like high speed tag like fighters

Pacquiao trashed Barrera brutally and it made him #5. Barrera was number 3 at that time.

Perhaps the same example could be made. But probably lower for Chavez as this will be his his biggest achievement unlike Pac who has already 2 titles before the Barrera fight.

If he wins by KO he will have to step up and fight the winner of the Ward/Dawson fight and win. Then he would be top 5 to me!

180+ pound SMW beating 37-year-old JMW? I don't think so. Let Junior beat Froch, Kessler or Ward and I'll definitely rank him top-5

If Junior does win where would Martinez drop to on P4P lists?

I believe personally that if he wins and does so impressively he cracks the top ten for sure. He still needs a few more impressive victories after to get into the top five IMO.
