Wait? Hasn't Hearn pitted Froch v Bute, McCoskey v Khan, Proksa v Golovkin, Rees with Broner, Barker v Martinez?

Fights in where each his fighter is an underdog and not expected to win?

Why would it be different with Brook?

Well at least the fighters Hearn are putting his fighters in against are top quality and are a great oppatunity for his fighters and not American nurses or Norweigan midgits

Kell Brook vs Josesito Lopez is not a PPV fight, not at all. I'd also be surprised if he fought Paulie and it was PPV, same with Ortiz. None are that well known outside boxing fans and Brook is still nowhere near a household name in Britain either.

If Brook beats Alexander he'll have nothing in that division that will terrify him anytime soon! and that sentiment will be echo'd by Eddie Hearn.

My fear for Brook is rather like a statement made on Primetime right at the beginning of the Hatton Senchenko bill - "is this one big delusion" ............... Alexander has been in with some real quality guys, not to mention his outstanding ama record!

Brook went life and death with Carson Jones, a man who has absolutely no business fighting top level guys at 147!

You can look at Brook's record pessimistically or optimistically, glass half empty or half full - has he simply not fought anybody of any real quality, or has he not put a foot wrong? On paper there resumes and records both amateur and professional dont match up, Alexander on paper is way more accomplished than Brook, plus he's more experienced against better guys.

On the surface Brook seems to have a good chance of beating Devon, but i find it hard to believe a man of Alexanders stature and schooling will roll over to Kell Brook that easily! Im picking Alexander to beat him based on experience and quality of opposition, i have a feeling Brook's apparent lack of ring craft and general IQ will undo him, and he'll be crying he was robbed in a close fight were Alexander basically out boxes him.
