If Kessler fought Ward in Denmark who wins?

If they fought anywhere outside of Oakland without Ward's family and friends as judges and referee, then Kessler would win by DQ or KO.
Ward busted up both of Kessler's eyes with intentional headbutts, held and hit, threw elbows inside, and grinded his head into Kessler's wounds during clinches. It was a clinic in dirty fighting and an embarrassment for the sport of boxing.

 

I have to wonder if anyone crying about how he should have been DQed for headbutts has really watched what happened. I believe there were 5 headbutts but I'd say 4 out of the 5 were the fault of neither man but the result of styles and in-fighting kind of in the same way heads came together in Pacquiao-Mosley. The headbutt that seems to stick in people's mind is the one in the 9th (?) were he came charging in with his head and it seems people have filled in the blanks that the other headbutts were similar based on the constant complaining since that day.

 

Ward, as he always does, came charging in head first from the get go. Leading with your head is a foul.

We dont know how well Ward can travel in a big SMW title fight. America hasnt had many SMWs who could win big fights away in Europe ie Brewer, Lacy, Mitchell, Taylor, Manfredo, Johnson, Dirrell etc.
If Ward was to repeatedly hold and use the head like he did before against Kessler, Ward could well be disqualified

Oh, I fully concur. Look at Muhummad Ali. Sure, he was an excellent fighter on US soil, but all will admit that his crowning achievement was his 12th round TKO victory over the German champion Karl Mildenberger in Frankfurt, 1967.

Without the Mildenberger fight, we simply would have no way to evaluate Ali's career. Without Mildenberger, Ali is nothing.
