If Kessler had won the 6, Joe C's res would've looked better. Does it now look worse?

After reading all these reports, reviews and thoughts, I've got this image of Rocky (Joe C) talking to Mickey (Enzo C) in my head.

So what Enzo, so we wouldn't have held the WBO title for like 100 years or what, but it would have been for real. And all the bridge openings, dancing competitions and reality TV shows are going on whilst the real fighters have been in America all along.

All those defences meant nothing, they were hand picked!
Kessler, Lacy, Reid.... there are 20 in all. All this exposed by Carl Froch, but wait the real Clubber Lang is now Abraham or is it Dirrel or is it Pascal, or is it Bute, or is it Ward?

Let Joe rest!!!!!!!!! He's retired, he's never coming back.

It's just so unfortunate for us and so fortunate for Joe that all the talent has come along now rather than 5 years ago.

Joe Calzaghe's legacy is secure. A Kessler victory in the super six tournament would have helped Calzaghe for sure - but it does nothing to diminish the man's accomplishments. Calzaghe is retired so we should respect his wishes and give him his peace. Now is the time to talk about a new boxing star on the ascendancy and that man is Andre Ward.

No question that Ward's dominance last night makes calzaghe's win look less impressive. Granted, Kessler could have had an off night last night - but if Froch beats him too it re-frames one of Calzaghe's few 'in-prime' scalps and its left looking much less impressive

I put more weight on Calzaghe's wins over Jones and Hopkins. Those two guys are old but the still dominated them, especially Jones. Calzaghe is the real deal. He beat two greats who still can fight ok.
