He'd be what is called a titlist, a beltholder not a champ.

 

like i said too many different names for too many titles in one sanctioning body

i've just has a look at the WBO rankings and they have it like this,

1. barrera
2. JMM
3. J diaz

9. A Khan

it makes sence for the WBO to get the winner of marquez vs diaz to fight the winner of barrera vs khan.

 

when cant all the boxing organization give their belts to the winner of diaz-marquez slugfest

 

Marco Barrera was at his very peak against Hamed. This is clear. He started fighting some easy opponents after that, Tapia and Kelley being overmatched in every possible way. Then comes along this firestorm young talent called Pacquiao, who just walks through Marco's new counter-punching style. After that, all of his performances came from a past prime version, but the Morales III fight was his last great effort. He did well against Marquez, but that was a poor man's Barrera. No body work, didn't open up nearly enough. and never got off first.

 

Khan get;s DESTROYED in 47 seconds and can't get back up. Fight's a can then gets'a title shot at Marco Antonio Barrera. Yeah, that makes sense. :roll:

I've got no problem with him fighting Barrera but we are going to hear the usual "World Champion" **** from Warren.
