If Khan beats both Maidana and the Bradley/Alexander winner

How can you rank Maidana so far ahead of Urango?

And you have at least another 5 fighters that are better than Salita (Phillips, Tackie, Magee etc.).

Another instance of how overrated Maidana is...... if Khan didn't have a glass jaw he'd probably be ridiculed for taking this fight.

As it is, I'm glad he's taking steps to get the ''never faces a puncher'' ****** off his back, and getting the credit for steamrolling the equally glass jawed Maidana before someone else does!

 

Oh sorry, in that case, no he doesn't level up to Ricky's. 5 fights at LWW aren't enough to match up to Ricky's whole career in the division. Based on longevity, Hatton's reign would be more solid.

But in regards to quality (which is what I tend to value more), I think consecutive wins over Maidana and Bradley/Alexander, is more impressive than a shot Kosta.

And yes of course, you're right. Devon's at a similar stage to Khan; therefore not in his prime. My bad.

 

Dominate the 140 division. Do some forays in welterweight then fight and lose to the two best fighters on the planet.

Obviously not. Ricky Hatton as undefeated at the weight going into a championship fight with the linear champ not a titlist. Ricky beat a top 10 140 and top 30 135.

 

Theres also the fact that In the boxing ring he might surpass Hatton, but in terms of support and following he has no chance

No but he'll have definately bypassed Hatton at the same point in his career. Wins over Maidana, Bradley/Alexander, Ortiz, Barrera, Malignaggi which is what i think he will have hoped to achieve but end of 2011 will have him close to Hatton at the age of 25 or whatever khan is

 

I think he does surpass him. He will be lineal champ then.

 

if that happens, he's a really great little fighter who deserves to be aknowledged as such by every boxing fan.
