the best outcome for this fight for khan is that if he can take it to the later rounds, make it a dog fight, and show people he can deal with fighter under pressure.

IF he walks in and lays barerra down in the 3rd round thats wont really do gud, becuase then you'll here barerra is shot

 

NOt sure i agree...i mean if he outpoints Barrera easily it will be worst.
Knocking Barerra in 3?! WOuld be a hell of a statement even at this stage of MArco's career. My humble opinion.

 

Yeh he's british pakistani...not indian. I also agree that he's not liked by alot people because of his race...and other reasons are used as an excuse. Don't get me wrong..there are non-racists who don't like him but the race factor does play a part without a doubt. Jelousy could also be another reason why alot of people don't like him..one being that they feel he earned to much to early which is true but i wouldn't be complaining if i was in his shoes.

 

lolll i don't think Amir really is in a position to play around with MAB. Im sure if a KO opportunity arises for Amir he will grab it with both hands. Does it matter what people think? thats whats been Amirs problem so far...he's always been trying to impress people rather than making sure of victory first.

Trouble is Khan can't deal with fighters under pressure and if he does lay the great Barrera out in 3 he is shot!

 

If Khan 'destroys' him then , of course, it has to be seen as a great win. MAB is obviously not what he was but he's still dangerous....especially to someone with a chin like Khan's. I expect MAB to beat him inside the distance.

I popped into William Hills on the way home from work today and they have at 15/1 that at the opening bell Khan comes out of his corner, gets MAB in a headlock, rams his head into the ringpost shouting "that ones for Naz, you cheating Mexican, dwarfy ****"....could be worth a tenner :think

 

Barrera getting Naz in a headlock and ramming his face into the ring post was one of the finest moments in the sports history. Utterly brilliant.

 

If Naseem Hamed was in Khan's position now, just starting out on his career, you can guarantee he would not be anywhere near as popular as he was. Because Naseem was before 9/11, it's a totally different climate now. Sure Khan can be a bit cocky, but if he was white, he would not have as many people taking pleasure in him getting beaten, or hoping he gets beat.

Well if that happens, Barrera will have been shot; but, even so, he'll have been credible enough to make it a great victory for Khan, considering he's a shoddy fighter at the moment.
