No. Barrera is fighting in his 20th year as a pro, his last bouts were against guys with records of 1-7 and 25-19 and lost the last two times he faced top tier opponents, with both of thsoe fights already being two years ago. Barrera is done, and Khan's people picked him hoping that Barrera's age, ringwear, and occasional trouble with fast opponents (see Junior Jones, Pac) will put a big name on Khan's resume. If Khan gets beat anyway, I'll laugh. (And incidentally, Khan's chin is probably worse than dodgy because in watching Prescott vs Toledo, Prescott didn't seem to have all that much power. Unless Prescott was dealing with an injury sapping his punching power, that bodes ill for Khan).
I have posted this and I'll post it again. If Khan beats MAB I'll still give him credit because MAB inspite of being not in his TOP FORM anymore is still a very dangerous fighter and can still beat half of the top 10 rated fighters at 135.
If Khan beats MAB then it would be a good addition to his resume. I don't think that MAB can beat Khan though.
