tomato cans are hard to find these days, especially when you've exhausted all your options (31 tomato cans-0)

amir khan gets nothing except 5 millino by fighting brook... brook is not a signature win to have on your resume... that clown should have been IBF champion in Feb 2013, instead one year later he's still waiting around doing nothing.

now if he decides after 2 years of ducking the IBF champion that he wants to fight porter in USA and beats him then it's worth it for khan to fight brook for a belt... otherwise it's jsut about the money

Not if he fights someone more proven, more famous or better than Brook.

Hearn is talking out of his arsehole as usual

Unless I'm mistaken hasn't even disclosed how much froch - groves got for the first or what he offered for the rematch as 'it's confidential'' so why is he spraying around figures for Khan - Brook??

His 'budget' would not allow him to pay Khan 5 million US and defiantly not pounds that's nonsense.

I suspect it will be Khan - Paulie 2 or a title fight with Porter (dangerous) to keep him in line for a potential Mayweather fight in September.

Hearn should put his fcuking hand in his pocket and get Brook a named opponent - why not give Shane Mosley a call? - he's beyond shot and I wouldn't normally approve of taking advantage of old, broke legends but the joke is Shane is still far better then anything Kell has boxed.

Not an ounce racist, don't know where you got that from. But when you have your 'black' agenda, that's where problems start in your own brain.

    Who say's I'm not black?

    Who actually gives two fuucks?

And Khan deserves all the abuse he will get...

If Khan has any real ambition at WW he should be calling out the like of Thurman and making a genuine statement instead of going over old ground with a feather fisted past his best Malignaggi...

If Mayweather is "ducking" you then you go after the next best thing or at least somebody half dangerous.

I think even Robert Guerrero would be a good fight for Khan but I have a feeling Khan will go all out for the likes of Malignaggi, Mosley, Berto...

****ing embarrassing in my humble opinion after the crap he has been talking.

Sorry I went off topic but the delusional Khan and his equally delusional fans irritate me...

Khan will have nothing to do with Brook, not because Brook is very good but because Brook can dig and if you are put on your backside by Julio Diaz chances are Brook will KO you and Khan's ego could not live with a defeat to Brook.

Yep.What happened to him being Porters mandatory and Porter having to fight him by June?? I think theres something Eddie Hearn is not telling us.Probably involves them wanting Porter to come to Sheffield and him not playing.

Sorry mate.I misread that.Thought you meant Kell.He is Porters mandatory, though, isn't he??If this offer is genuine, looks like Kell will duck Porter.

kell is porter's mandatory however the fight will most likely happen towards the later part of the year (if it even goes through).. brook is to have another "keep busy" fight (like his last 31 fight) before he gets a cahcne to meet porter

shawn porter already said he will NOT come to UK to fight... he fought in UK in his amateur days and won't make the same mistake again

Thanks.I was told that Porter had to defend against Brook by June. But of course I took that with the usual grain of salt.I knew about the keep busy fight in March, which is ominously at catchweight.I didn't know Porter had said he wouldn't come to the UK,but Im certainly not surprised:the lad wants a fair crack of the whip after all.Plus I heard an interview with Dominic Ingle where ha gave the definite impression they weren't in love with the idea of going to America.

It's a pretty good offer, what kind of money is Khan getting from the names he is ventilating? probably not that much.

If he fights one of those opponents for half the money he was offered by Hearns, then he is ducking Brook.

I don't think so. He's still trying to get a Mayweather fight/payday so he's probably going to try to fight someone who is known in America to make that possible. Maidana beat Broner and got a Floyd fight, Khan will try a similar tactic. £5m is a good offer but Khan would get more vs Floyd so that's his priority.
