Yep i'd support him. Does TV have any influence on peoples support :huh Yeah I think he'll outpoint Salita off the back foot much in the same way he did against Kotelnik. Will be a little easier for him too because Salita would come to throw punches too, thus opening gaps for Khan to explore. AS LONG AS HE KEEPS WORKING ON HIS DEFENSE THAT IS. Still needs improving as the fights come along
well i keep hearing some ******s say khan shouldnt be on ppv and u know the whole "id never pay 15quid to see khan" crap, so i figured if his fights were on ESPN would there opinion change
What kind of question is that? Yeah, Haye was amazing before he went to SBO as well:roll:. Of course people would still support him. It would be better for me if he's on ESPN as I don't pay extra for it, though.
Ah right got you now mate :good I understand what there saying. He shouldn't be on PPV but the way I see it is its not really his fault and not really his place to get involved. Lets face it, if Warren offered you shed loads of money you'd do it wouldn't you. I know I would. Young fighters can't really afford to **** Warren off. If he'd have been with Maloney/Hennesey after the Prescott fight he'd have been waiting years for the chance to fight a name like Barrera and then get a title shot. Khan's business is in the ring and unless he constantly takes poor defenses then i'll be a fan.
Because ive read constantly that some ppl wont support khan because hes on box office and he was on box office too early. I understand wat u guys mean an opinion of a boxer shouldnt be determined wheter theyre on terrestrial tv or ppv etc, but there are ppl who think like that
TBH when people blame a fighter for fights being PPV (and not the TV or promoter) it usually means they didn't like the fighter in the first place and are just looking for an excuse to have a pop at them.
Khan's going to get exposed again soon enough. I won't pay to watch him on PPV if the undercard is full of Olympians vs bums...
ok i see your point not really as espn is still ppv in its own way, they show no other boxing so i would be paying 14 euro a month to see amir fight once every 5 months
Gladiator that last Khan fight had a STACKED undercard. Obviously it wasn't great for the Sky viewers but for those who got to see it live. I was kept entertained throughout
They didn't show the Enzo, Mitchell or Brook fight on TV though. I had to watch Olympians beating bums instead.
Gladiator thats why I said obviously it wasn't great for those watching on Sky :good MrMagoo - Is this gonna turn out to be a cleverely concealed hate thread :huh
