The only thing Malignaggi had at his best was his legs and his chin..... but against the better fighters his legs were ultimately no good to him.

I really hope Matthysse beats Morales, and Khan's team do not then lose interest in that WBC belt. It's a risky fight, but if he takes it on and wins, he'd have made a massive statement. It really is the next best thing after Bradley.

it's all well and good revisiting with hindisght, but at the time hatton v malignaggi was a huge fight between the CLEAR top 2 of the division.

At 147 Khan will be bigger then most 147 fighters, Khan body will love the higher weight.

I'm worried he won't be the same force at 147 that he is at 140.

 

Khan still has skinny legs at 140, at 147 he can put more weight on the legs and that should improve is power and help him take the bigger shots at 147.

I think Khan will do great at the higher weight, and think he is having trouble getting down to 140 which is a sign he needs to move up.
