A problem with this one is that Khan will never get the credit he deserves for beating Matthysse, as he's already ''lost'' to Judah and Alexander.

    He's a handful, that's for sure.

Being the first to ''officially'' beat a fighter isn't ever really remembered too much..... whether that be after a bull**** decision/DQ or a bull**** decision/DQ before a convincing KO loss.

    Bowe/Golota springs to mind.

Given the state of the division I want to see Khan face the Morales Matthyse winner. Even if Morales wins then credit to him he went controversial with Maidana and beat a legit Matthyse so he should have credibility.

Well it wont be Morales! He has come out today saying he wont fight Khan in 2011. So if Khan wants a chance at that belt he better pray Matthysee wins.

why are u avoiding the question, has khan ever beaten a fighter who had height and reach over him?, bredis prescott was the last person to have any of those attributes and who had prescott beat prior to the khan fight?, and you rubbish Mike jones as a none-entity, mike jones is far recognized at 147 then kell brook is.
So please tell me how khan beats jones? when was the last time khan faced anyone with a massive punch output as jones? Khan breaks under pressure just like he did against maidana. stylistically mike jones is all wrong for khan.

What has that got to do with anything? Ricky Burns is the same height and he's 2 divisions below.
Arguello was the same height too so I guess he only done well as he didn't fight guys taller than him.

His point is that we don't know how Khan deals with taller fighter like Jones. Height and reach may very well be an advantage against Khan.

He knew enough about winning rounds against Alexander and Judah.

Terrible? He's better than Maidana for my money and has the best chance of anyone at 140 to put Khan to sleep.

Doesn't change the fact that Jones isn't very good.

So he lost to Prescott as he couldn't get inside his reach?:think

Didn't say that did I? Thing is we don't know how he deals with height and reach disadvantages

As I said Mike Jones is a decent WW - not great by any stretch but may pose Khan problems due to his sheer size...

Vitali Martynov and Ryan Barrett seemed to have height & reach over Khan but they were bums

A pet hate of mine how people try and diminish a fighters achievements because they are tall at the weight. Hearns used to get it too (NO I'm not comparing Khan to him before anyone gets that in!:yep)

I agree that fighting a naturally bigger guy can be a factor but it's not just a case of height / reach.
Has Teddy ever NOT mentioned it on FNFs?:think
He always points out the advantages that shorter guys have too though.

Atlas also makes the point that, with a good jab and movement (like Bradley’s, funnily enough), the shorter man can negate the taller man’s advantages and fool them into giving up their height.
