Khan is not known for ducking guys I dont understand your point really, if Khan moves to 147 trust me he will not duck anyone, a has a heart of a warrior but maybe not the best of chins.

Easy for you to make fun of him, ****ing step in a ring first ***** boy.

Nice way to change the topic completely, troll at his finest. Khan hasn't ducked anyone?, what happened to avenging losses? He seemed to be overly interested in rematching Peterson, who got a gift decision against him, yet zero interest in rematching guys that knocked him out. Why is that?, because of the weight?

Khan still wants to rematch Garcia.. maybe not at 140 now..

Garcia plan to move upto 147 soon too, so the fight can get made at 147.

Prescott was a one hit wonder...

Khans an idiot,as a former fan I get sick of khan talking total ****,the amount of times he has said that he feels faster stronger and more powerful is a bit ridiculous, now he was weight drained at 140? Give us a break amir

I too used to be a fan,and although I still think he's great entertainment, his mouth makes me hope he gets KO'd.

He is full of ****,and this drivel he comes away with that he is the ultimate prize for the winner of GBP's 140 tourney only shows how deluded he's become.

If there's any truth in it,all it means is that the tourney winner gets a very winnable fight against a guy who might be exciting for a couple rounds.
Just like GBP bull**** about him being huge in America when his top billing guarantees plenty of cheap seats just before fight time.

Khan has been knocked out and down in EVERY weight class he has fought in. Weight isn't the problem. His Glass Jaw is the problem. He has been knocked out at every level of Boxing. How could this just be a weight problem?:rofl:patsch

Can someone please explain this to me.

How is it possible for Khans chin and power to not get better at 147, but for him to become more vulnerable.

Essentially you are saying, 147s are stronger than 140s, apart from from Khan who remains terrible regardless.

Well first off,he has about 50% of the power he had at 135 now at 140.
And secondly, guys hit harder at 147.
There are certain fighters, like Hearns who you know will benefit from extra weight in their legs when it comes extra weight and strength in their legs.

Khan however, was glass at 135,is glass at 140 and will be more like bubble wrap at 147.
He could be squatting 200kgs 3x a week and have special dispensation to fight anyone at 147 and come in as heavy as he likes with no penalty.
The results will still be the same. All that god given handspeed was evened out by having one of the weakest chins in recent memory.

Khan couldn't take a punch at 135 or 140. Clearly he needs to move up in weight to fight bigger guys who hit harder...so that he gets knocked out less. Clearly.

Improvements to his chin by draining less would be offset by the fact that the bigger guys at 147 pack more power

Your original argument was that Khan is draining too much weight to fight at 140 (which is bull**** considering many guys at that weight drain 15lb instead of the 10 or so that Khan drains). So basically he'd pull a Floyd/Manny and fight without cutting weight, which would improve his chin and stamina.

Now you're saying he'd pull a Marquez and add on some weight (which would improve his power and chin)...and still cut the exact same amount via dehydration.

Do you see how you're not making sense here? He's either gonna be totally not weight-drained while giving away size to every opponent, or still just as weight drained while fighting guys the exact same size as him.

Face it, Khan is not going to improve his punch resistance or power. He can only improve his boxing skills, which he won't because he's mentally weak, delusional, and lacks focus.

well if you fail to account for the fact that at 147 the fighters will hit harder and take shots better making those said advantages gain none/little to amir. Plus he will likely be a slower fighter taking away one of his only special abilities
