If a lot of boxers had raw concussive one punch power they would go a lot father than they have, but they aint, i don't think galahad is world champ material at all,but if he had power,he would be a decent euro level fighter, but he never will, power like what people like naz/benn had they are born with it it comes naturally if u aint got it u aint got it.
And none of this 'when he gets better he will punch harder' , if he can't punch right now henever will

Yeah, the Kid's got zero power :conf Just ask Josh Wale

or James Ancliff or Paul Griffin. The Kid might have stopped 3 of his last 4 but he has zero power & everyone knows the only really important aspect of boxing is how hard you can punch.

All his pivots & slips are just smoke & mirrors, he got hit a few times in his last fight so he has no defence & is apparently a knockout waiting to happen.

Coming from the same gym Nas did 20 years ago will be a huge problem. He needs to get out to America for some quality sparring & sign with Matchroom or he will go nowhere.

Josh Wale had a fractured jaw in his previous fight but carried on & won on points. If Kid Galahad didnt have zero power he wouldve stopped him earlier than the 9th round.

He has no power at all, all his stoppages must be down to something else :think

His power will develop....he only started boxing at 15.....Naz was not known as a puncher until he'd been in the gym every day for 8/9 years.

Mo, I know your a fan of Galahad, but come on now, he can't punch for ****, and the whole 'look at Wale's face' is daft, Wale has no defense and ate about 200 hundred clean punches.

The good thing about Galahad is his stamina and accuracy.

come on mo,even you gotta admitt he has no power, what stopped his last few was his accuracy or the ammount of times he hit him,he has not got one punch power, nada, nothing,****all:hi:

he ****ing hit ancliff with everything he could, and lets be honest about ancliff, his defence is a bag of shite,he is just a punchbag to most who fight him.

the bit i bolded i agree 100% :thumbsup

I used to watch him as a kid. He only developed a reputation for his power in his last year at school - he was regarded a "fancy dan" before that.

Junior Witter wasn't regarded as a puncher - let's hope Kid Galahad's power progresses the same.

naz could punch from day one,no question about it :smooch

    not gonna bother with witter.

galahad will never punch hard, never,i will bet on it,if he sits on his punches to get that extra power, which, won't be much extra,he will get hit far to easy,he gets hit easy now with his so called elusive style, imagine if he stops moving around while punching, planting his feet for power ,its a disaster waiting to happen:deal

Wale played into Galahad's hands, he stopped jabbing after first round and just plodded in. Kid's a talented guy, he doesn't punch with enough intent he seems happy to time his shots and land and that's it. I'd like to see him now and then dig and pivot as he drives shots in.

I'm gonna do a post in prospects thread on him and also Eubank who i think are talented guys but need work. There young guys so it's massive period in there career for development of good habits.

I don't need someone from Burnley telling me what Naz could do in the 1980's.

Think your looking at it in the wrong way its not about having the power to ko/stop someone, its the power to keep a good live oponant off you for twelve rounds so your punched dont just get walked through.
