Ginger Dosser is done cycling and wants Kovalev to have a shortened training camp.

Why 11/2, doe? Are there big fights in November taking up the weekends?

Allegedly because of subscription periods for dazn. The executives don't want the Canelo fight within the same period as the Joshua fight.
But I'd assume Clenelo gladly takes the advantages that come with that date and plays victim to the execs

so what? how exactly do you guys believe this hurts kovalev? if they scheduled it for cinco de mayo, you guys would be complaining about canelo trying to age him as much as possible. this benefits kovalev if anything.

Having the fight so close together means Kova wont let himself go in between camps and will age less. And hopefully will largely take his current conditioning into the Canelo camp.

I dont see the problem really.

exactly my thoughts. most of camp is work involving conditioning, which kova only needs to maintain at this point, so he can concentrate most of his time on strategy and sharpening up.
